HVAC (HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING) JOBS

“In January 2008, after moving into their brand new home, that was heated by a propane fired furnace the Tetraults were shocked to get a $400 propane bill for the very first month. We promptly installed a new Bryant two speed, energy star heat pump that works with their existing propane furnace, cutting the cost of heating their home by over two thirds of their previous bills. Their propane supplier actually called them after a couple of months to find out why they were not having them come out to fill the propane tanks as much as before. The Tetreaults now have year round comfort in their home as the new heat pump provides air conditioning also.”

—Brian and Melissa Tetreault

“In December 2008, the Riseland family called us after being referred from a neighbor who we recently installed a complete home comfort system for, and also from the Microsoft Prime Rewards Program, which is offered to all employees of Microsoft. In January 2009, we replaced the old, gas fired furnace that was in the crawlspace of the home with Bryant 80V variable speed gas furnace matched with a 286 series two speed heat pump. We also reworked some ducting to provide better air flow in the home, and installed a high efficiency air cleaner and a new programmable thermostat. Their energy use has dropped significantly since this installation, and the comfort level of the home has gone up.”

—Brian Riseland

“In October of 2008 we replaced a poorly designed heating system with a new High Efficiency Bryant Energy Star, two–stage gas furnace, with a high efficiency air cleaner, and a new programmable thermostat. We also replaced the old style water heater with a high efficiency energy star Rinnai tankless water heater. Karen is now saving money on her energy bills with her high efficiency heating and water heating system.”

—Karen Federico

“In December of 2008 Markus and Osha called us regarding a failing gas furnace. Our initial consultation of their home found that the old furnace was undersized, and the venting for it had many leaks, which could potentially cause carbon monoxide poisoning. We replaced the old furnace with a new Bryant 80T, two–stage gas furnace complete with a high efficiency air cleaner, and a new programmable thermostat. We also brought the existing venting system up to code, to help prevent carbon monoxide leakage.”

—Markus and Osha Mendonca

“The Carters called us last July 2008, as a referral from PSE (the gas company), because the expense of heating their home with oil was getting cost prohibitive. After the gas company installed gas service to the home in August 2008, we provided a complete fuel change from oil to natural gas. Besides new gas piping throughout the home, we also replaced the old oil boiler with a new Bryant gas boiler, and brought the rest of the hydronic heating system up to code with new safety devices, air elimination, and a new expansion tank to reduce heating bills.”

—Jack and Marilyn Carter

“In November of 2008, we removed a older oversized standard gas furnace that was using too much energy, and replaced it with a properly sized Bryant 80V variable speed gas furnace combined with a high efficiency 265 series heat pump, matched with an electronic air cleaner to give the home clean air and complete high efficiency comfort year round for their heating and air conditioning needs.”

PLUMBING JOBS

“We were called out to repair a leak in their main water line. Once we dug up and exposed the leak we found the material used was “Blue Poly”. Because we could not warranty any repair and the piping was an inferior product we recommended that the entire water line be replaced. The customer was concerned that we would have to dig up his concrete driveway; we told him that we could use a “trench less” system so we wouldn’t have to break up his driveway but only dig up at the water meter, which was in a softscape area and open up a small section of concrete in his garage Mr. Balam was relieved. We then replaced the “blue poly” with Wirsbo, “pex” pipe, with a tracer wire attached. You can’t even see that we replaced the water service.”

—Gerald Balam – Trenchless Waterline Wirsbo “Pex” piping

“This is a “repeat” customer from many years ago. She called us because she had a water “main” leak under her home and needed a cost to fix it. We came out and gave her an estimate, which because of the property layout was going to include a new water service. Due to the potential cost, other companies were called to get more pricing. During their bidding process the job was either too big or too much work and they did not want to give an estimate. This was a very “tight” crawlspace and had been infested with rodents. We replaced her water service and re–piped part of her home. “I cannot express how impressed I am with each employee…I wish I could tell the entire State of Washington about my experience with your Co.””

—Cindy Flagg – new water service and partial re–pipe

“We were called out for a “plugged” sewer. We “unplugged” the sewer and recommended that we “Video” the line to try and find the cause. We then used a camera and found the cause. There were 2 “bellies” (low spots) that were causing the problem. When we located the areas of the bellies we found that they were directly under her deck. We then decided due to cost that the best solution would be to re–route the sewer piping and not tear up her deck. We also installed a “clean out” just outside her house. ”

—Helene Hood – camera and repair sewer–piping

“We were called out to give an estimate to relocate a water heater from the crawlspace to inside the home because they were going to sell the home. We relocated the water pipes and electrical from the crawlspace to inside the home and installed a new electric water heater with a new thermal expansion tank, seismic strapping, and a pan.”

—Patricia Moberg – relocate hot water tank

“In December 2008 we relined three different sized concrete sewer mains. This is a less expensive option and achieves the same result, no more root intrusion in the areas that were lined. The sizes were a 12”, 10” and an 8”. This was an extremely difficult job due to the fact that it was about 28 degrees outside and snowing. We coordinated this with Lake Side Septic. We completed this job in two days. ”

—Shorewood Heights Apts. – sewer relining

“Mrs. Gallichan had heard our ad on the Spirit 105.3 and asked us for an estimate on remodeling her downstairs bathroom. We installed a new bathtub on slab with a new tub shower valve. We relocated her waste and water pipes to be able to install a pedestal sink. We also provided a new pedestal sink and faucet and a new Toto drake toilet.”

—Kathy Gallichan – bathroom remodel
